In the light of eternity life is like a vapor
It is here today but it may be gone tomorrow
Alot of people don’t understand why each moment matters
Each step, one step closer to meeting your maker

Everything you created was made to bring you glory
so many different aspects of your love
Teach me dear Lord to find you in the vapor
Teach me to hear you in the faintest whisper

I have this life but it isn’t mine at all
Teach me to listen to your call
The life I have to live
Is the best I have to offer

May others see you and be glorified, magnified through the way I live
I want others to praise you by the example You have set
As I see gasous vapors waste and fade away
In the light of eternity may others find clarity

Vapors hang around for a time then they fade away
but my prayer today is that you’re magnified today
I can’t stand the fact people think life doesn’t matter
While I know that you knit me in my mother’s womb

In you all my needs are met You are my savior
In you is all I ever want is more than I imagined
You bring true fulfillment to my life
I see every perfect thing in you

In you I find true meaning
In you I find true healing
My hope is in you almighty
Nothing this world offers us is even close to what I have in you

In you I can find another breath to praise you
In you I can find the true meaning of love
The world’s picture is twisted about what it means to love
But all I have to say to define love is in you

You Lord show us how to love show us what true love is
I know that this world will miss the invitation to intamacy with you
If they keep on keeping on the track that they are heading down
You are teaching me that you long to know me better

I am longing to seek you with all my heart
I am begging pleading with you to rescue your people
As I see so many people lost in this fallen world
In you is true life and fulfillment

Jesus I just want to thank you for giving us an image
So hard to grasp how we can see the invisible
How we can begin to unlock the mysterious
How we can begin to understand the impossible

By the Holy Spirit we can grow intimate with you
Through knowing you we can know the Father
teach me new ways of thinking
New ways of praising, seeing you

As I pursue your heart help me break for the lost
Because I know you want to reach them
So I am asking you to send Jesus to their doorstep
I need you to search my heart and take out everything that is not of you

Because the way I live may be the only taste of you they have
May my life be a crystal clear reflection of who you are
For I am your child I long to resemble you in every area of my life
So that I may bring you all of me

Thank you for anointing me with your love
May I show others your fragrance
May I be still for long enough for you to whisper
Amidst the confusion; amidst the commotion

Please bring me a revelation that brings devastation to all areas of my life that don’t please you
I want to over on a solid unchanging foundation
Starting with you Lord please cause the world around me to crumble
So that I may rely on you, more please make me humble

Please teach me how to filter out all other things so I can focus on you
I need a spirit of wisdom so I can draw near to you and be able to discern
Things in my life that hinder me from you things that hold me down
I am free to be who you are calling me to be

Open up my ears wipe away all my tears
As life gets tough and I feel like crying
Help me remember that I was worth you dying
Help me remember my true worth is in you and not in this world

Reveal to me ways to show your majesty to others
I try to live the truth may they not see all fluff and feathers
I long to make you real in my life because so many people are watching
I want to know who you are to me how much I can learn from you

This is not about me at all but may you receive the glory forever
I don’t want to take the credit, but I long to see your glory shown
By the way I live my life on earth please use me
To help advance your kingdom Lord

I take refuge in the Lord
As I follow hard after your words
Arrows of the wicked are bent and aimed for me
But I find protection with in you

When will you rain down sulfur on the wicked
When will you have enough
Show me the way to go as I enter the battle
I ask you to search me for any deceitful way within me

I am yours and I take refuge in you
I know my future lies in your hand
The thoughts you think about me outnumber the grains of sand
Stretch out your arms to rescue me from the roaring lions help me stand

I have put my trust in your unfailing love
I will sing to the Lord a new song for he has been good to me
Teach me how to live in holy fear
Then I will be forever near

The ways set up in your word
give me direction and I know
If I follow those things
I will not be shaken

Psalm 11; 13; 15

So many acorns fall from the tree
As I look at creation I see your love for me
You have placed me here for a reason
As I run to you in life’s tough seasons

I find comfort in you alone
I can see the love you’ve shown
I love you Lord please make my faith my own
As I trust in you alone the grace you have shown me

Thank you for loving me and chasing after me
May I look around and see
by following you with my entire heart
I am asking you to change my heart

The attitudes that are not of you please change
With you at work nothing is too much to ask
I may never walk on water but by faith
I take another step toward you

This life is so hard at times and I just wanna cry myself to sleep
Teach me to always remember that I am your precious sheep
As you lead me beside still waters please teach me to follow
The life I am living please make my faith deep not shallow

I have been lost for so long, I have strayed so far (11)
You have found me, please take my life and use it for your glory (15)
Lost without purpose is how I felt before (11)
Even though I was lost, you never stopped looking for me Lord (15)

Lost before in this world of mystery, lost within my own destiny (17)
Lost in my own little world, looking in all the wrong places to find love (18)
I have been found; when I wasn’t looking for you, You pursued me (17)
Lost is what this world is, sometimes I think they aren’t looking to be found soon (18)

You come to ease away the pain; you have come to gather your people to your side (20)
As I grow closer to you, please give me your heart to reach the lost; Lord this I pray (20)
You found me as I was; please use me as I am; please give me this day the strength Lord (20)
You are my comforter, my sustainer, my refuge, my shepherd, my Lord and friend (20)

I am no longer lost; but I see the hurting people in this lost world (18)
Thank you Jesus for finding me when I wanted nothing to do with you (18)
I know that the world is searching, but they don’t like to admit they need you (18)
The world doesn’t like giving up control; show them direction for their lives (18)

Do they really know that they need to be found, or has sin blinded them from the truth (20)
This world lies to us all the time, please open up the world’s eyes to see through all deception (22)
What breaks my heart is that the lost don’t know they are being lied to and deceived Lord (20)
So many lies; people believe because they are blinded by the ways of this world I pray (22)

The evil one has captured so many hearts, and made them blind to what is true (19)
The Lord is pursuing them and longs to call them His own; why can’t they find the light Oh Lord (22)
Please show them how they can find true love; true purpose for their lives now forever (19)
This world has fallen behind the mask of deception; so easily accepting lies as facts (22)
