I ask myself the question/are the storms in my life/really bringing me one step closer/to my final destination/and I can’t see how I could be so blind/to your hand upon my life/I know that within each storm I go through/sun shine is just around the corner/but sometimes I seem to give up hope/when this world seems hopeless/

The storms in my life/the trials of my day/lead me to my knees/when I come before you humble/at your feet I know I will find peace/when I see the storms/I remember you have the power to calm. When my heart is fearful/when my eyes are filled with tears/I trust you to calm me/and provide me with strength.

There are so many storms/that seem never to go away/I am not asking you/to take the storms away/I just need strength to make it through the day/I know you can take these from me/but then would I really learn to touch/the hands that calmed the sea/would I learn to trust your kindness?

The storms will bring me closer/to finding myself in who you are/while I was still searching for someone to love me/I have found victory/over the storms that take me down/because you took my life/and turned it all around/I can never understand/how much I love these storms/that you bring me through/

I want to sing with your people forever in your palace/I want to enter your courts forever with thanksgiving/I come into your holy chambers with a humble heart/I need your presence to fill me as I empty myself

I need you more than anything/I want you more than life itself/I love you more than this world/I need you to fill me with your love/I need you to sustain me/I need your hand to guide my every step/as I pursue you.

There is nothing else I need/I have all I need in you/there is nothing more to living this life/than making your glory known and spreading your gospel/every where I go with every breath I have/with everything I am/because of your mercy.

I need you more than/the grass needs the rain/I need you more than the day/needs the sun to make it bright/I need you more than I could say/as I look to you as the only way/I cannot say how much/this desire is burning with in me.

I want a little more/than this world has to offer/I want a little more than the things that are worthless/I want to give you a little more than/I thought I had left to give you/I see there is a little more than/what the human eye can see/more to life than any mind can fathom/ And as I seek you/may you share a little more than I had seen of you before/

I can live a little more than sure/I know where I will end up eternally/I see a little more than just what lies ahead/because you have given so much/and I ask myself can I give a little more than effort/to seek you in your holiness/there are so many areas/I have yet to give over to you/you want my heart/a little more than I have given you.

A little more than faith/is what I need to stand upon/a little more than trust/a little more than sacrifice/teach me Lord to give you my all/you deserve more honor than this world/chooses to give you. I need to trust you/a little more than I have been/as I see this world crying/a little more than dying/and a little more than hurting.

A little more I have left to give you/but I try to make excuses/I sometimes listen to you/and I think you need a little more/than I need the world/but the truth is you fulfill me/when I give you my heart/and your love for me is so much/more than I could ever imagine/so can I really give a little more than/the things I want to give you.

Teach me Lord to stand/when this world is sinking quicksand/I want to stand for the things that you stand for/this world seems to be falling away/as I see this everyday/my generation is being attacked/by so many other things/Help the Christians around the world/to stand in this generation/as there is a gap that is widening/with each TV commercial/with each song that’s played. And I pray as it gets wider/and the times get harder/help the church never to forget the one true foundation.
It is hard to stand for what you believe/when the world is changing so quickly/with each step drifting farther and farther from the truth. I guess so many times/there are things that we sink into/not realizing we are being sucked in/help us to realize that your word/never changes and is rock solid.
My legs are becoming weak/but as I seek your face/please give me your grace/to help me stand for the things of God/and not let this world cloud me over. I pray I would never lose sight of the end/because I know you have already won/oh tell me precious one/why you loved me enough to sacrifice your son.
There are many things that I don’t want you to squeeze
I am asking for you to do what you want
I know it ay hurt for a while
But I know it was you who went the second mile
I want you to squeeze me and love me like nothing ever could

Fasting LTE (Life Transforming Event)

Just as I come/to you broken/just as I am/just to find you/just as I am searching/just to find something/that brings meaning to my life/just as I read your precious words to me/I am just waiting to be transformed.

Just as I walk/I’m looking for your hand/to be my guide/just as I sleep help me feel your touch/just as I am filled with awe/I cannot grasp a love like this/I just cannot imagine this love so deep.

Just as Peter/stepped onto the water/when the waves were crashing/and it seemed impossible/for him to survive/just as he was sinking. When he seemed to lose hope/just as I do sometimes/you told us not to be afraid/

Just as Thomas didn’t believe until he touched/the nail holes in your hands/I find myself doubting/teach me to believe without seeing/to find my strength in everything that is unseen. Then I can believe/

I seem to be lost in/things that lose me/I cannot see how/I lose myself within/my own fantasy world/I seem to be lost/in myself/but I know you will find me/and I am asking for a new revelation/of who you are to me/

Teach me to lose myself within/all that you mean to me/I long to lose myself in all you’ve promised to me. I am no longer in my world/but I am asking for you to come find me.

I am lost in your love/your power that I stand in awe of/but I find my breath/when I am lost within all you are/I have been looking for you for so long/because I have not fully grasped all that you are/

There are many times/when I cannot find myself/you have found me within your love/words cannot explain/the fact I have been looking for you/in all the wrong places/I look for the day that/I find myself within your arms.

I may not know/exactly how to sing/I may not know/the words to sing to you/the song I bring you/is an expression of my love/because simple words could not be enough/I need to write a song/about the way I feel/about my master, my king, and friend/

I bring this love song/before you and even then/would it could never be enough/to put into words? This song I sing/is about how I love you/I can not see you/but I can feel your hand/I can not always hear you/but you continue to speak.

A song of joy/you have given me to sing/as I learn to fly on eagles wings. I have fallen from the greatest heights/and now I see you are lifting me up. I wander through the deepest valleys/wondering if there is any one out there.

I can feel your hand guiding me/I cannot see where I am going/I want you like the earth wants the rain/I long to sing/this song of love to you/as I am seeking your will for my life/as I draw near to you/as I seek your face/as I turn to you to fill the empty space.
