I cannot believe the things I have learned through this awkward stage
God is really working in my life and I want to share how

I would and I can say I did because I want to see God glorified

I laid myself down to put others first and I am so thankful I did
I am not telling you this just so I could brag
I want to see a friendship grow and other things seem to take a backseat
I would do anything for you and it doesn’t matter if I feel awkward because God will use me

If I cry because I am filled with joy because I see a friendship
A friendship that is faith based and Christ centered
I feel privileged because I have had a part and I didn’t say a word but I kept my mouth shut and let God speak amidst the awkward silence

Written about a road trip to Missouri from TX. I was sitting in the backseat and this is written form my perspective and a friend

As I realize that I am more than a conqueror in Christ

So the flesh inside of me is crucified because of the one who died for me
I no longer am a slave to my own desires even when I mess up
They do not define me they cannot contain me because of the freedom
God has given me Get lost because I stand delivered from the grasp of the sinful man

Pre chorus: There are days when I ask is this all there is to life Am I alive for a purpose or am I just wasting my breath Other days I know I have a purpose bigger than what I can see I look to you for answers and I have truly found what I’ve been looking for

Chorus: Your presence is better than life and I long to live by your grace each day I know that the way you offer to me is better than this life I just wanna say how thankful I am for this life you’ve given me I know life is a privilege you have given to me someone you’ve created me to be

Verse 2: I don’t know how to explain the feeling when others come into the kingdom When people realize that there is a life better than the one they are living Better than this life someone may think is impossible but you tell us That there is something better on the other side of eternity

But rather what you did through my life to advance the kingdom

I am so thankful for what you did for me

If I say I love you I need to show others by the way I act
