You hold my heart within your blanket of grace; gently stroking my face
As my eyes close and soul finds rest asleep in the bed of grace
When I wake up your hands hold my frame
I just try to hide myself from you but you see me there

I don’t know how to explain my emotions
You offer me grace; and I accept it even though I can’t grasp it
You hold me when I want to run away
You talk to me when I choose to remain silent

Held together within your plan
Held by the words of truth
Even though I am hurting and broken
Your arms of grace sustain me
