As I look into the distance all I see is space
My mind wanders as it tries to grasp what lies beyond what the eye can see
Lots of people live to survive, while missing the purpose
It’s hard to see what’s on the other side of these walls I’ve created
I am loved by a God that’s beyond me
I want to live beyond the walls of my circumstances
I see a Savior who is there for me no matter what
I know that I matter beyond the words that have left me lonely
On the cross, you chose to go beyond what the world has ever seen
The grave couldn’t contain your infinite power over death
You rose above and went beyond what the world said of you
You want me to find myself in truth
It’s hard for me to realize what I have to do to live beyond
It’s difficult for me to trust in you to help me go beyond what I think I have to do
I don’t need to try to live on my own any longer, as I learn to let you carry me
It seems like I have fallen subject to the walls that I have created
Beyond the pain that this world has dealt me, at Calvary you took my sin
Beyond the hurt that has left me paralyzed I hear the Savior inviting me to walk
Beyond the feelings of despair, lays a myriad of hope and promise
Beyond the sorrow that a fallen world brings me, there is hope for a future
There are times when we forget the reason we are caged
We try to get beyond the world’s notion that we are worthless
Remembering what is said of me in your love letter
Beyond the world’s expectations, we choose to go the extra mile
