A lot happening in my world that I don’t exactly understand
Trying so hard to trust in the name above all names
It’s hard to comprehend a love so infinitely sweet but yet you were beaten
A love that accepts me for who I am, but you my Lord were rejected
As I look to cross and try to fathom a love so deep
As tears fill my eyes, help me see through all the lies
Keeping me from seeing your plan and your perfect will for me
The truth is I don’t have to understand, but I still need to trust
I don’t know what lies ahead in my journey in my walk of life
One step at a time, I ask for you to lead me in your truth
One prayer at a time, you listen and you answer
The things I think I need, I do not know; For you hold the answers
When I spend time with you I am free
When I am open you teach me what it means to be me
I know it sounds cliche to think this way
I want to learn how to love others the way you do
