We like things neat and tidy but life doesn’t always bend to those desires
Sometimes I want to cry myself to sleep but the world tells me that I’m a man
We all need to break sometimes so we can learn things that weren’t right before
Break me isn’t a normal thing to say in a world of easy fixes
Broken by the fall of man trying to understand a God who loves us anyways
Break my heart for what breaks yours, put it back together with your love
Break my pride and teach me to be humble
We see break ups mess ups and mock ups
I am asking to start over break me down and build me up on your foundation
I don’t like to admit when I’m in the wrong
My pride is so high I can’t see much of anything
I’m asking you Lord to break me of my sin
Break me of my bondage
Break my cycle of sin
Broken is what you can use in your kingdom
It’s hard to understand
In a world that needs to be fixed
It’s a hard concept to grab a hold of
We all know that we’re broken
Watch the news and you will see a broken world in need of Jesus
Listen to the radio and you hear of people breaking up losing their minds
Break me free from what’s keeping me back
Tear me free of the false securities this world tries to offer me
