In a time of uncertainty, in a time of confusion, riots, and protests
In a time of unknowns, in a time of chaos, in a time of isolation
Bring certianty, bring peace, bring peace, and bring us together
Bring us truth, bring us serenity, bring us closer to your heart
I don’t know why this world seems to have gone nuts
I don’t know why there isn’t any unity
I know that you can put the pieces back together
I know that people need the gospel
So hard to live in isolation for so long
So if I let my mind wander am I still wrong for wanting community
The church is marching on but has a slightly different look
The church is reaching people, but from the comfort of their homes
How can we fight each other over the color of our skin
How can we hate those who are different, and try to love the people who are beaten
Teach us that we are all created in your image, and you love us all the same
Teach us what it means to love without boundaries, and extend our hand to those less fortunate than us
