People try to tell you do your best, and they’re always sayin’ things like give everything you have/sometimes the situation that you’re in/the journey you’re embarking on/tells you that you aren’t strong enough/you don’t have what it takes to make the cut/
People say things that they wanna tell themselves/sometimes with the dyes cast/they take a chance that you won’t notice/they haven’t been trying to do their best/so what business do they have sniffin’ around yours/when your friends tell you something/you tend to give it more gravity/
People will try to either build you up/or use their words to tear you down/sometimes they leave before they help you rebuild/but you don’t need that type of negativity/it just breaks the soul down/and it can be quite the opposite of joy/
People try to give opinions/try to give advice/when your heart feels torn and battered/they walk in and out not caring if your dreams are shattered/they were never true/because the only one walking in your shoes is you/when times feel toughest/
