A hospital can be a scary place, inside the walls healing is taking place
A new setting full of new people trying their best to help but never the same way
You can be filled with hope or you can let the walls close you in
You can look at the facility as being a place that wants to keep you there or people who genuinely care
Sometimes you get people who are bubbly all the time, and sometimes you will get people who are just beaten down with life
You can look to the heavens and thank the Lord that there is healing
Like a rabbit hole, you keep trying to figure out where it will end
You can listen to devil and let him keep you in his dungeon
Or you can wage war on him with truth about who you are and what you mean to Christ
The devil wants you to feel defeated, locked in a cage with no way out
Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world
As a child of God, you are not in a dungeon
As a son or daughter of the most High, you are considered royalty my dear
Some people think the walls they build will protect them from getting hurt
Holding everything in, bottling it up, like a pressure valve needing a release
Sometimes you feel that if you can’t get out, you will never make it
God is with you, even when it feels like you’re trapped
He is refining you with the fire, the trials in this life
I admit it’s tough to look at the bright side, when the sun isn’t shining
In the rain, it’s hard to think of the rainbow at the end, or how the grass needs rain to grow
It’s not easy to be optimistic, all the time and think that it never rains in life
We need the rain to help our faith grow, when our faith is tested
God has a purpose, God has a plan we hear it all the time, it can become cliche’
Easy for you to say, you aren’t trapped in a place where it feels like the walls will never let you see the light of day
Since God is love, He is always love
God is teaching me, to trust in Him
God is showing me, how trials have a way to wake me up
A song never written, is a message never shared
A book with no time line, is commonly labeled as unfinished
Each day, God is writing our story but sometimes we want to skip ahead to the end
Even in the rain, and when you’re going insane from trying to figure out what is next
God will lift you up, and He will do so in His timing not ours
