You are my hope/you are my peace/you are my strength/when I cannot stand on my own two feet/
there are many ways to describe/this love you have shown me/but if I spend all my time explaining all you’ve done/
I would run out of time/and I find my hope/in bringing you glory in my life.
My hope is not of this world/because the grace you give/is so far beyond what the mind can comprehend/
and my hope is so steady/even when I feel like there is no one around me/I know the mercy you gave/
will help me let you be my hope/and I know that there are many times/I fall down.
You give me a purpose/you’ve given me a passion/you’ve given me a hope/that I take to heart/
and I need you to survive/and I know you will sustain me/there will be hard times/and I long to hear from you/
because I place my hand within your love/and I give all I am to hear you say well done/
There are many times/I forget to pray/to give you this day/and I choose to stray away/
because I have not remembered that you are my hope/my future and my life/I try to become great/
by how I live on Earth/then you remind me/that I need to be the least/this is so hard to grasp/
