Woke up this morning/to another phone call/trying to re-live the past/it really got me thinking/
that if your ship was sinking/would you really want to hold on/this world tries to take you down/kicking and screaming/
Let it go/try to move on/is the mantra of getting by/it takes all you have to learn to hope/and long for what’s on the other side/
It’s hard to imagine/life could get better/when all you had is taken away/
You don’t know how it’s going to turn out/but God is removing your doubt/if I could tell you what I was feeling/would you turn and run away/
So many times/we try to open up/and some people can’t understand/could you listen if other’s views were different than your own/I don’t understand
the way God works/but it doesn’t change the fact that He does/people are trying their best/sometimes their lives are so complex/they don’t have
the time/
Just because people grow up/and move away/doesn’t mean we drift apart/hard to keep up when you move/but there will be another way/friends find ways to keep in touch/
Another day another opportunity/to get up and face the day/or you could choose to close your eyes/and turn and run away/its hard to figure out/but not impossible/
There are many times/when we don’t understand/exactly where we are going/some people will support you/and others will have to let you go/its hard to determine/
who will be there/when you’re feeling down/
