Let’s go on a walk/let’s watch the sunset over the ocean/looking at eachother’s eyes/seeing all the colors of the rainbow/
There are times/the storms seem to last forever/and it seems that our ships get battered/we try to sail our ships/when they’ve got no direction/
Sometimes we feel like we’re sinking/to the bottom of the ocean/because we are tired of treading water/it seems like we’re going nowhere sometimes/
My arms are tired/and there world tells us there were shots fired/
I can see/the world clearer/I can see/where I came from/sometimes where I am going/each day holds something different/each moment seems to be an obstacle/
It doesn’t always help/to run away and hide/but sometimes a different persepective is what is needed/when you feel defeated/you will be ok/we will get through/
I don’t know what the future holds/but I know my God holds it in his hands/there are a lot of things/that I don’t understand/things that are hard to comprehend/
If there are times that are tough/we will make it through together/
This world has left us wounded/and hurting so deeply words cannot express/the pain that we try to hide/would anyone ever truly understand/the hell that I am living/
Would they stick around/or would they move on with their lives without us/we have eachother/and we both have Jesus/what more do we really need/yeah it helps to have
people understand/but sometimes you look for someone to listen and can find no one/they all want to offer their advice/it’s so difficult to find rest/
Your mind is racing with questions/
If you knew there were brighter times ahead/would it give you hope/the strength to move forward/comes from the God who made you/the journey will be long/
the destination is each others arms/looking into the distance holding each other’s hands/it seems like it’s a long way off/but we can travel this life together/
When we don’t know where/this life is going to take us/when we start taking steps to move forward/and let go of the past/it can be hard to get there/but we will make
it/it’s a choice I’m willing to make/because I’ve got you to help me/
