Like a river flowing through a mountain
A spring that shoots forth from the ground
Sometimes the air is foggy and the ground is frosty cold
Sometimes the weather makes us question if the water is safe to drink
Circumstances may change, but the water is still crystal clear
We want something that’s pure
Sometimes we don’t come prepared and life tries to bring us down
We are struggling to see the light
There are times in my life that I am so thirsty I settle for less than crystal clear
Make my vision crystal clear so that I can see others the way you do
Teach me to love the way you do
Teach me to care for others the way you would
Sometimes my glasses get cracked from the things that will hurt me
Sometimes my vision blurry as if I just woke up from a long winter nap
Sometimes my head is cloudy and I need to catch my breath
Sometimes my conscience is warped but it can be ironed out
