We’ve been there a thousand times…things getting worse before you think about them getting better…it gets overwhelming when all you see is rain…the rain drops help things grow…but when has it rained enough…when can you go outside without getting soaked…
With every rain drop…a sprig begins to grow…hard to accept the circumstances…when they feel insurmountable…when it seems like every situation goes from bad to worse…hard to keep your head up…when there is flooding all around you…
Rain drops help things that are thirsty…but sometimes we long for the sun…and don’t seem to ever thank God for the rain as well…things weren’t always meant to be sunny…It’s hard for me to imagine…that God is calling us to be thankful…for the rain drops in our lives…
We live in a society that looks for the rain…because our view has become twisted over time…we don’t like the trials in our lives…we wish they would just go away forever…but when the rain drops come…the sun has to come out…because too much rain can injure the growth…
