Sometimes I don’t view my life as a child.
This world can be a cruel place to live
This world can be a nightmare
This world can be a warzone
This world can be a catastrophe
A child understands the world is their playground
A child views the world with a different set of eyes
A child doesn’t know that things can hurt them
A child doesn’t like the answer no because their must be a way
A child’s world is so innocent because they haven’t been to the top
A child’s view of others, they want to help those who are different
A child’s view of this world is that there is more to be explored
A child’s view of reality is different than ours now days, but I want to trust like a child does
I know I can never go back to the way the world was before
I know that my heart can change for the better
I know that you can change my perspective help me see others as a child does
I want to come into your arms as a child does
