When things get tough friend, do you try to run away
When things get complicated, do you try to change your reality
When things get overwhelming, do you face the unknowns or try to go back to bed
When things get harder than anything you’ve ever been through, what do you tend to do
If I told you a secret, would you run away and leave me to fend for myself
If I told you a struggle that I am having, would I be all alone
If I told you there were answers, to all of the questions that you’re asking
If I told you there was a better way to face your fears, and God sees all your tears
Would you embrace me friend, when my world seems to be so cold
Would you believe with me, that I will see brighter days ahead
Would you help me trust the truth, that are found in the promises of God
Would you help me carry on, when my world feels like it’s ending
Would you run away from me if I opened up my heart
Would you run away from me when I am on my knees begging for answers
Would you run away from me if I told you that you don’t have to be afraid
Would you run away from me if I could show you a picture of how Jesus redeemed us
