Just because things don’t go the way I had hoped doesn’t mean that you forgot about me
Just because things don’t always go smoothly doesn’t mean that it will always be bumpy
Just because things aren’t the way they appear on the surface doesn’t mean that they bad
Just because things don’t always work out the way that I had planned doesn’t mean you don’t care about my hopes and dreams
Sometimes the questions that I ask don’t always bring me peace
Sometimes the answers that I seek are different than my questions
Sometimes the anxiety that I am feeling overwhelms me
Sometimes on the journey, I seem to lose my way
Just because we don’t understand doesn’t mean that it won’t work out
Just because we seem to be still, doesn’t mean the world isn’t turning
Just because things are broken doesn’t mean it can’t be fixed
Just because things are tough, doesn’t mean they can’t get better
Because I know my Savior, I can live in peace
Because I know the one who knows, I don’t have to worry
Because I know the one who has created me, I can trust that He will take care of me
Because I know the one who knows the future, I don’t have to worry about what comes next
