Point of view

Tell me what it’s like to see the world from the top of your high horse
Never mind, there probably isn’t much room for both of us
The miles between us seem greater than what bring us together
There were mountains we could’ve climbed together, but you left me behind

I think I am better off with out you
I think the point of view is better from below
You used to shove me down so that I could boost you higher but I’m done
You used to try to play games and try to make me look the fool

If you want to see the world from above I hope that you the view is pretty
If you ever want to see others as equals; want to come back to reality I’ll be there
When the world decides it’s had enough, and knocks you down then you can see
The world doesn’t always revolve around the things that you thought it did

Tough to tell you this without you coming across as arrogant but you already thought i was. Sometimes the truth taken with a dose of reality, is the magic potion that turns out to be the ingredients in the point of view that yields humility
