I don’t know it all/in fact far from it/when things get tricky to navigate/when the water is rough/when the way is uncertain/the future is unknown/sometimes things get rocky between us/
Teach me to listen/when I want to give advice/teach me to be a friend/when it’s easier to make enemies/teach me to calm down/when my heart is racing faster/teach me to be quiet/when my mind won’t let me sleep at night/
In a world full of information/easy to get lost/easy to lose your focus/ easier to blend into the background/than to stand out and be spectacular/easier to try to fit in/than take a stand for what you know is right/
Teach me to be myself/when the world says you shouldn’t/teach me there is more to life/than what this world offers me/the temporary things will fade away/and the eternal things remain/
