It blesses my heart/whenever I hear your voice/or hear that notification sound playing from my phone/I know things are tough/but they won’t be forever/even when we’re together/at least we’ll have each other/when we don’t know what to say/
Walking on the trails/we’re holding hands/because we want to be close/laughing because we’re having fun/giggling because I told you the squirrel looked silly with its cheeks full/seeing nature on our walk/I wonder if we’ll see any deer/and then wonder they live/
It’s windy out today/will we take a coat/will your hair be up or down/will we get hot chocolate or an ice cream cone/we tell each other we’re hungry/and we make a plan/on what we can eat/when we’re together/sometimes I forget to breathe/but my heart is still beating fast/
