This is a story about how some time we try to plan our own days but God plan is always better.

I tried to make a difference…I tried to leave a mark…
I only have a little snippet…of eternity on this side…
I would want people to remember me…but yet I don’t know what legacy I would leave…
Would people say that I loved others…or only thought of my self…
Don’t get me wrong…
life is short so make the best of it…
We get a sampling of eternity…on this side of the aisle…
This world is broken…because of all the sin…
Those who know the power of the cross…all is not lost…
I tried to love…I tried to come out ahead…
I know this life isn’t always fair…but at times I just don’t care…
There were times I tried to cheat the system…
so that I would get what I thought I wanted…
I tried to live the right way…but I know I came up short…
I want to love you Lord…to show others your glory…
I want to try to make a difference for you…
not just live for myself any more…
I don’t want to live for my own selfish gain anymore…it isn’t worth it…
You told me that I didn’t need to try…because you already accepted me for who I am…
