This poem was written when I was feeling like I had lost a lot.
I feel like I lost my friends
I feel like I wasted my time
I feel like I fall down right after I get up again
I feel like I missed out and now I am going to pay the price
Like I lost my friend
Like I buried my heart while it was shattered
Like I tried too hard to make this work
I feel like I am falling apart
Feel like my heart is hidden between reality and raw emotions
Feel like my heart is vulnerable, but no one to share it with
Feel like my heart is broken but you can’t touch it because I can’t allow you in
Feel like my heart is hurting, I’d rather live with it as is than take the time to fix it
Like I lost soul, feel like I have given my all
Like I lost my purpose, feel like each day is the same old thing
Like I lost my meaning, hard to get rest when you’re staring into outer space
Like I lost my direction, please be my compass
