We all want to be seen/but sometimes we try to hide/the things you laid out there/would others understand your vulnerability/or would they say you were being soft/other times they accuse you of shutting down/but it only matters what the truth is/
Out there the world is scary/out there are possibilities to grow/out there when it’s as dark as night/out there when you’re feeling exposed from all sides/do you have a place to turn to/do you have a place to hide/do you get energized when things aren’t the way they’re supposed to be/
Out there is a jungle/out there is a mess/out there you can feel all alone/sometimes when the night comes/you can barely move/other times you are looking for the light/we go through stages in life/it’s hard when you don’t know what’s gonna happen/
Inside you may feel safe/you may feel secure/you may feel seen/but sometimes the growth happens in the open/when your walls are down/when your honest/when you don’t know the answers/when you don’t know the way things are going to go/
