Sometimes the sky gets dark/the clouds fill with rain/a storm is coming soon/the birds take shelter/and stop their lovely singing/but they seem to be okay/with the temperature change/sometimes I wish for the sun/when we have a bunch of rainy days/
But the rainy days/help us grow/as long as we’re together/we can sing how much we’ve learned/even when we don’t see much growth/when we are struggling together/we will help each other out/and we are stronger/we can sing together while the birds are taking shelter/
Sometimes thunder scares me/but I have you to hold close/I know that the storm will pass/sunshine will come back/things I didn’t see in the darkness/we can navigate together/we are going to be okay/even on the rainy days/when all we wanna do is snuggle/
We have so much in common/we have other similarities/but what makes us forever different/will bring us peace/continuity and resolve will help us grow together/its a strange concept to hold on to/but I know it to be true/
