When we’re apart/it’s like the time stands still/but when we’re together it flies by/and I can’t explain it/because is it really different/when my emotions are so big/when I can barely speak/when my mind is scattered/when my heart is racing with anticipation/
The memories we have together/getting lost together/finding the car in the middle of the rain/wouldn’t trade a millisecond/wouldn’t change a single thing/because when we’re together/the world stands still/maybe it’s because we have so much in common/
Like time will pass/no matter how fast or slow/we try to take it/sometimes we want to slow down time/other times we want it to go faster/it’s hard to figure out the emotions that surround me/flooding into my heart/but remembering that I get to see you soon/
